Thought it was about time I shared my thoughts with you on the Pixi Vitamin-C Serum and as I write there’s a fabulous offer on at Marks & Spencer so I thought I’d share that info with you first!

The usual price is GBP26 for 30 ml and today it will cost just GBP17.33 here. But that’s not all M&S is offering – there’s a Beauty Box for GBP15 with GBP40 spend and also free standard delivery on orders over GBP50. So a good day to take a look!

Pixi Vitamin C Serum

You’ll know that I’ve tried out a few different Vitamin C products over the previous few months. The points that people discuss most about them are what % Vitamin C is included in the product is and whether the efficacy reduces over time, and how stable it is – as in – is there a limited shelf life? I’ve not been able to find out anything about these elements on the Pixi web site or packaging which is a shame. So I can only assume this means that the Vit C content isn’t high, although Ascorbic Acid second on the ingredients list – that could mean that the ingredients following it are in tiny amounts – it’s hard to tell.

So I can only go on what Pixi say themselves and my own experience. They say that it’s a brightening and antioxidant serum that provides a boost of immediate and long-term radiance. Vitamin C and ferulic acid are proven to reduce the effects of sun damage and free radicals, helping to improve skin tone and create a smoother complexion.

I’ve found that it’s easy to use with a couple of drops being enough for my whole face and it easily absorbs into my skin. I can’t say that I’ve seen a visible difference in my skin tone and texture but I’m hoping that anti-oxidant effect is working in the polluted London air.

I’d say that this is a welcome addition to a beauty routine that includes Pixi Glow Tonic (their hero product in my eyes) and a great way to see if Vitamin C products are for you. I’m not certain if I would repurchase though. Not because there are any negatives – there really aren’t – but I feel like I’m on a mission now to try out other Vitamin C products and I’ve only got one face for that!

What are your favourite Pixi products? I’d love to hear from you!
